Help, I would love to go to university to study veterinary science but am allergic to animals due to asthma

Weeellll, you might like to look into the pharmaceutical side of Veterinary Science and help produce products that help other people who are also allergic to animals. Fight for your own cause and all that. With all the advances in asthma medication, you might find something is marketed in time to help you, or you might help produce it yourself.

I know u might think this suggestion is a bit whacky, but u could try listening to Esther Hicks & the teachings of Abraham. Go to hayhouseradio.com sign up free & u can listen online by clicking on the archived hosts section: Esther & Jerry Hicks. They teach all sorts about the laws of universal attraction etc, but if u keep listening there is a lot about how emotions affect our health & how changing negative thought patterns can heal illnesses. I have done a lot of studying in the holistic health field (I am a Reiki practitioner, crystal healer etc) & I believe Asthma is caused by the emotion of fear. If u want to, u can heal ur Asthma. I used to have allergic Asthma which I no longer have, as well as hayfever & a so called ''incurable'' thyroid problem. I am now as fit as a fiddle. Do not let ur Asthma stop u from fulfilling ur desires, u do not have to live with Asthma for the rest of ur life. Good luck. i feel your pain, i could not do my course at college because of astma because i vwould be dealing with dust. just tell the uni when you apply, and they will issue you with a face mask for your classes.

talk to your doc but anti hayfevor drugs might help. they helped me when my ex had a dog.

Agreed with the reptiles suggestion - or how about marine biology? You could go and study in Hawaii ;-)

a rare case of asthma! Shift to other study where you have neither animals nor man! You daughter will still be glad and proud of you!

i think you should talk to your doctor again and see what they say.
however do you really want to risk your health, you have a daughter so you dont want to be ill for her.
how about chooseing a different course at uni.

Could you specialise in reptiles - no fur to be allergic to with them.?
